Polyester Fiber Sound-absorbing Board Construction Method

Polyester fiber sound-absorbing board is a new type of interior decoration material that integrates sound absorption, heat insulation and decoration. It uses 100% polyester fiber as raw material, is hot-pressed and fused, and is made in the shape of cocoon cotton. It can be processed into products with air permeability and various densities by heat treatment.

1. Pay attention to the selection and arrangement of boards before construction to avoid slight color differences.

Polyester fiber sound-absorbing board is made of polyester fiber as raw material and is hot-pressed. Due to different production batches and the difficulty of polyester fiber coloring, it is easy to produce slight color differences under the action of sunlight. Therefore, when purchasing, try to use polyester fiber sound-absorbing boards produced in the same batch number. Before construction, arrange the polyester fiber sound-absorbing boards, adjust the color difference, and then install and construct according to the adjusted arrangement order.

2. It is advisable to use a rigid ruler to cut the board surface.

During construction, the polyester fiber sound-absorbing board surface needs to be cut. It is recommended to use a steel ruler or alloy square steel as a ruler when cutting. Do not use wooden strips or soft materials as a ruler to avoid the cutting line being not straight, which will cause the joint gap to be too large or twisted. In order to reduce the joint gap relatively, the blade can be tilted inward by 0.5~1mm during cutting to form an inner bevel on the interface surface, which is easy to connect the panels during construction and reduce the gap.

3. Blades used for cutting or chamfering.

It is recommended to use imported blades. Due to the quality of domestic art blade steel and other reasons, the blades are not sharp enough and have a short service life. It is easy to produce burrs and rough surfaces when cutting or chamfering, especially when chamfering. The rough surface is obvious. It is best to use the special chamfering planer for this product.

4. Substrate processing

1) For non-porous substrates, the joint gap of the substrate should be sealed with seam tape;

2) For perforated substrates, the holes should be sealed with a thin film on the inside of the substrate.

5. Selection of glue for pasting

1) First consider using glue that meets national environmental protection requirements;

2) Different types of adhesives can be selected according to different pasting bases;

3) Cement or wooden bases: benzene-free universal glue or white latex made of chloroprene rubber can be selected;

4) Paper-faced gypsum board base: under the premise that it is not easy to be affected by moisture, white latex or wallpaper glue made of cellulose can be selected (it should be fixed with nails immediately after applying glue to avoid the board surface moving before the glue dries up), and universal glue can be selected under the premise that it is easy or likely to be affected by moisture.

6. Polyester fiber sound-absorbing board is a porous board.

It is very easy to absorb glue and block holes. It is recommended to apply glue on one side during construction (only apply glue on the wall, and the amount of glue applied is slightly heavier than normal). At the same time, it can also be reinforced with nails.

7. Polyester fiber sound-absorbing board for inner and outer corner treatment

It can be used to treat the inner and outer corners. The method is the same as the construction method of aluminum-plastic panels. Cleaning-related issues: There are three main types of stains encountered during the construction of polyester fiber sound-absorbing panels:

(1) Dust and dust. Just use a dust washer to remove the dust on the surface;

(2) Mud stains. Soak the polyester fiber sound-absorbing panel in clean water and use a scrubber with a high water absorption rate and a weak alkaline foam detergent to scrub;

(3) Oil stains and rust stains should be cleaned with special degreasing and rust removers (you can choose a degreasing and rust remover for cars).
